Lash Extension Removal
Professional removal dissolves the adhesive with a gel remover so the extensions slide off instead of being pulled. It takes about 35 minutes, costs $30, and it is the single best thing you can do for your natural lashes if you are taking a break or starting over.

What to Expect
Please do not pull them off
Pulling an extension takes the natural lash with it, and pulling a badly isolated one takes three. Most of the damage people blame on extensions actually happened in a bathroom at midnight. Steam, coconut oil and micellar water will not dissolve professional adhesive either; they just soften the lash line enough to make pulling feel easier.
What happens in the appointment
Your eyes are protected with under-eye gel pads, a cream or gel remover is applied along the extension line and left to break the bond down, then everything is combed away and the lash line is cleansed and conditioned. No tugging, no scraping. You leave with your own bare lashes.
Removal, then what
You can go straight into a fresh set the same day if you have booked the time for both. If you are taking a break, a lash lift at $65 gives you curl for six to eight weeks with zero maintenance while your natural lashes get a rest.
Lash Extension Removal FAQ
- Removal is $30 and takes about 35 minutes at GLAMSTHETICS SLC. If you are booking a new full set in the same visit, mention it so enough time is scheduled for both.
- You can let them grow out naturally over four to six weeks, which is safe. What is not safe is pulling them or using oil to loosen the bond so you can pull them, which is how natural lashes get ripped out prematurely.
- They can look shorter and lighter for a week or two, mostly because you have got used to the extensions. Healthy lashes are not changed by a properly applied and properly removed set; the cycle just keeps going.
- Yes, that is a common booking. Same price, same process, and it is the safest way to deal with a set you are unhappy with.
