Wedding Lashes in Salt Lake City
Utah has the highest marriage rate in the country, which means a lot of Salt Lake weddings and not many spare Saturdays at a one-chair studio. Lashes for a wedding are less about which set you pick and more about when you sit in the chair. Booked backward from the date it is four appointments, and none of them happen in the final 48 hours.

The timeline, booked backward
Book the free 20-minute patch test as soon as you have a date, because an adhesive reaction is miserable to discover in the final week. Do the trial set about eight weeks out, ideally the same day as your hair and makeup trial, and photograph it with flash, since flash flattens lashes and what looks right in the mirror can disappear in pictures. The final full set goes 12 to 14 days before, and the last fill five to seven days before.
Why five to seven days, and not either side of it
The day before leaves no margin. If a lash sits wrong, or your eyes are puffy from a late night, there is nowhere to put a correction. Leaving the fill out at two weeks is the opposite mistake: you will shed a normal week and a half of natural lashes before the ceremony and the set reads thinner in photographs than it did at the appointment. Five to seven days is the window where everything has settled and nothing has gone missing yet.
June, outdoors, and the rest of the party
Utah marries young as well as often. The median age at first marriage here is about 25.2 for women and 27.2 for men, against roughly 30 nationally, and outdoor weddings peak in June. A June ceremony outside means heat, canyon wind and a lot of hugging, none of which trouble a properly bonded set but all of which argue for the fill sitting close to the day. Bridal parties are seen one at a time, so text the date early and the appointments get spread across the week before.
Wedding Lashes FAQ
- Free patch test as soon as you have a date, a trial set around eight weeks out, the final full set 12 to 14 days before, and the last fill five to seven days before. A mini fill at $45 is usually all a two-week-old set needs; book a hybrid fill at $75 instead if you shed quickly.
- Hybrid at $170 is the most requested, because the mix of spikes and fans holds definition under flash without reading as costume. Classic at $145 is the quieter option, and volume at $200 is the unmistakable one.
- New skincare of any kind, including the sample in the gift bag. No waxing within 48 hours and nothing new at all that week. Skip saunas, hot tubs and hot yoga, since heat and steam loosen the bond, and book lashes before a spray tan rather than after. Keep cleansing daily.
- This is a one-chair studio, so everyone is seen one at a time. Text (801) 875-9677 with the date as early as you can and the appointments get spaced across the days before. Anyone who has never worn extensions needs their own free patch test at least 48 hours ahead.
