Hybrid Lash Extensions
Hybrid mixes single classic extensions with handmade volume fans across the same lash line. The classics give you spikes and definition, the fans fill the gaps between them, and the mix is what creates that textured, slightly undone look people mean when they say wispy.

Why hybrid is the popular one
It covers gaps that classic cannot and stays lighter than a full volume set. If your natural lashes are patchy, uneven, or thin in the inner corners, hybrid hides that without going dense. It is the set most people land on after trying classic once.
Spiky or soft, your call
The ratio is adjustable. More classics and longer spikes gives a sharp, piecey look. More fans and a shorter spike gives something softer and fluffier. Bring a photo of a set you like and the ratio gets built around it.
Color lives well here
Hybrid is the easiest base for colored work, because a colored spike among the fans reads as intentional texture rather than a costume. Add-ons start at $10, so a hidden pop of teal in the outer corners is a cheap way to try it.
Hybrid Lash Extensions FAQ
- Classic is one extension on one natural lash. Hybrid adds handmade fans of two to five ultra-fine extensions between those singles, which fills gaps and adds density that classic cannot reach.
- A hybrid full set is $170 and takes about two and a half hours. Hybrid fills are $75 every two to three weeks.
- Not when the fans are made properly. Volume fans use much finer fibers than a classic extension, so a fan of four weighs about the same as a single classic lash. Weight problems come from oversized fans, not from hybrid itself.
- Wispy describes the look, hybrid describes the technique. Most wispy sets you see online are hybrid sets with longer classic spikes placed at intervals, which is exactly how these are built.
