Prom Lashes in Salt Lake City

Utah proms cluster in a tight band from early April into the first week of May, which is why the April Saturdays here go before spring break does. This page is written for the person paying as much as the person wearing them, because the questions are almost always the same: is it safe, will it wreck her own lashes, what does it cost all in, and how long does she have to sit there.

What to Expect

01

What it costs, all in

A classic full set is $145 and a hybrid is $170. Color, glitter or a couple of gems matched to the dress start at $10 on top. Nothing else is needed before the dance, so most prom bookings land between $145 and $185 and there is no fill to pay for afterward unless she decides to keep them. The patch test is free.

02

Safe, and honest about what is not

Extensions do not damage natural lashes when each one is isolated onto a single lash at a weight and length that lash can carry. That is the whole job. What does cause damage is picking them off, strip-lash glue on top of a set, and sets built too long for the natural lash underneath. If a length is wrong for her lashes you will be told, not sold it.

03

Timing and the appointment itself

Book the free 20-minute patch test at least 48 hours before the set if she has never worn extensions. The full set goes three to five days before the dance, not the night before. Plan on about two hours for classic and two and a half for hybrid, lying still with her eyes closed. Parents are welcome to text (801) 875-9677 with questions before anything is booked.

Prom Lashes FAQ

Not when they are applied properly. One extension goes on one natural lash, at a weight that lash can support, so nothing is glued together and nothing pulls. Damage almost always comes from picking at them or from a set that was too heavy to begin with.
