Pride Lash Extensions
The Utah Pride Festival takes over Washington Square in early June, and the Sunday parade pulls something like 100,000 people onto the streets around it. A full rainbow across the lash line is the obvious ask and it is genuinely fun to build. A single color in your flag’s palette is the quieter option, and it keeps working the Monday after.

What to Expect
Rainbow, flag, or one quiet color
A full rainbow runs the six colors across the lash line in order, mapped to your eye shape so it reads as a gradient rather than a stripe. Progress-flag sets add the black, brown, pink, pale blue and white; trans, bi, pan, lesbian and ace palettes all work the same way. If a whole flag is more than you want, a single color in the outer third only shows when you blink, and glitter can go over any of it.
Book before the week of
The week before Pride is the busiest week of June in this studio, and there is one chair. Text in May if you want a Friday or Saturday. Color work also adds time to the appointment, roughly 25 minutes on top of the set, so the booking needs to be made with the color in mind rather than added at the door.
A studio where this is not a novelty
GLAMSTHETICS SLC is gender-neutral and LGBTQ+ friendly, which here means the appointment is the same whoever books it: private, one-on-one, your name and pronouns as you give them, no assumptions about what you want on your face. Rainbow lashes are the studio’s actual specialty rather than a June-only menu item, and they are on the menu in February too.
Pride Lash Extensions FAQ
- Color, glitter, decal and gem add-ons start at $10 on top of a set, so a classic full set at $145 with a color pop starts around $155. Hybrid is $170 and volume is $200. A full rainbow across both eyes is quoted at the appointment based on how much of the lash line is colored.
- Text (801) 875-9677 in May and aim to sit down three to five days before the parade. That gives the set time to settle and leaves room to adjust. The week of the festival is usually gone by the end of May.
- No. Colored extensions are the same fiber applied with the same adhesive as a black set, so they last a normal three to four week cycle. If you want them gone sooner, a regular fill from $65 replaces the colored lashes with black ones, and full removal is $30.
- Yes. Bring the flag or a photo of it. The colors get mapped across the lash line in the right order and proportion rather than scattered, which is the difference between a flag set and a set that just has several colors in it.
