What to Expect

Full rainbow or ombré fade

A true rainbow places each color as its own band across the lash line, which reads as distinct stripes up close and as a wash of color from across a room. An ombré takes two or three shades and blends them into each other, which is softer and photographs better. Either way the design is mapped to your eye shape first, so the loudest color lands where you want the eye opened up.

Placement decides how loud it is

The same six colors read completely differently depending on where they sit. Color on the lower half of the extension with black tips stays hidden until you blink. Color on the tips shows constantly. Color on the bottom lashes is the loudest option of all and it is the one that carries in photographs, which is why it gets asked for before events.

Retention is the same as any set

Colored fibers are the same material and go on with the same isolation and adhesive as a black lash, so a rainbow set holds its normal two to three weeks and fills on your usual schedule. The one real difference is that grow-out is easier to spot, because a colored lash that has traveled down stands out against your lash line in a way a black one does not.
