What lash extensions actually cost in Salt Lake City

Lash pricing in Salt Lake City is all over the map, and most of the numbers floating around online are either out of date or quietly leave out the part where you come back every two to three weeks. Here is what a set costs at this studio, what actually drives the price up or down, and how to read a deal that looks too good.

What this studio charges

These are GLAMSTHETICS SLC prices in Sugar House. They are one studio’s rates, not a survey of the city.

• Classic Full Set: $145, about 120 min in the chair.
• Hybrid Full Set: $170, about 150 min.
• Volume Full Set: $200, about 180 min.
• Fills: $65, $75 and $85 for classic, hybrid and volume on a two to three week cadence.
• Mini Lash Fill: $45 when a set is still mostly full.
• Extended Lash Fill: $100 once you are past three weeks.
• Eyelash Add-Ons: from $10+ for color, glitter, decals or gems.

Around the wider Salt Lake market you will find full sets advertised anywhere from about $80 at a high-volume chain up past $300 at a luxury suite, with fills roughly $45 to $120. Both ends of that spread exist for real reasons.

What drives the price

• Time at the table. A volume set is 180 min of uninterrupted one-on-one work. Anyone charging chain prices for that amount of time is either rushing it or applying far fewer lashes.
• Density and style. Hybrid and volume take more fans, more isolation and more mapping than classic, which is the entire reason for the gap between $145 and $200.
• Licensing and training. Utah requires a license to do this work. Continuing education, insurance and good adhesive all cost money and all show up in the price.
• Products. Adhesive has a shelf life and cheap adhesive is where irritation and bad retention come from. It is not the place to economize.
• Overhead. A private studio has rent, and a solo provider cannot make it up on volume. You are paying for nobody else being in the room.
• Add-ons. Color, glitter and gems start at $10+ on top of a set. Details at colored lash extensions.

The full set versus fill math

The sticker price on a full set is the smallest part of the annual number. A full set is the one-time build; fills are what you actually live with.

Say you book hybrid. That is $170 once, then a Hybrid Fill at $75 roughly every 18 days. Over 12 months that is about 20 fills. Add it up and a year of hybrid lands somewhere near $1,500. Classic runs meaningfully less, volume meaningfully more. These totals are estimates from current prices, not a package rate.

Two ways that number moves in your favor: book on time so you qualify for the standard fill instead of an Extended Lash Fill, and go longer between full sets by protecting retention. How often to fill and which one to pick covers both.

Red flags of a set that is too cheap

• A full set finished in under an hour. Applying 80 to 120 extensions individually takes time. Speed usually means lashes were stuck in clumps to your natural lashes, which is how you end up with gaps and damage.
• Strip or cluster lashes sold as extensions. Party lashes glued across several natural lashes at once look fine for one night and pull out multiple lashes when they shed.

• A price with no fill schedule attached. If nobody tells you when to come back or what it will cost, the introductory price is doing marketing work.
• Lashes that feel heavy or stuck together. Stickies are a real problem, not a preference. They pull on the natural lash every time it tries to shed.

If a set hurts, itches beyond the first hour, or sheds heavily in week one, that is worth a conversation with whoever applied it.
